Fly Flatts (Warley Moor Reservoir)


Yellow-legged Gulls - adult and a second summer
Also at Fly Flatts - 21 Wheatear and a Common Sandpiper.  Moving birds included Tree Pipit, Skylark, Meadow Pipit and Reed Bunting.

Glovershaw
Much less activity this morning, though there was a single Whinchat near the gate to the 'gallops'.  A Stonechat was also in this is area and another was feeding on a gorse bush alongside the 14th fairway.  A male Linnet and a family of Reed Buntings were the other passerines.
