The Caspian Gull which was first seen 24th December is a 2nd-winter bird ringed near Leipzig in June 2018.

A Christmas Day walk through the park resulted in the following list:
Great Spotted Woodpecker 1, Robin 9 (2 singing), Moorhen 2, Grey Heron 2, Goosander (pair), Dipper 1 (this bird had ben ringed), Long-tailed Tit 6+, Mistle Thrush 5, Nuthatch 1, Cormorant 1, Goldfinch 7

Above Riddlesden - At 10.45 a single formation of 200 Pink-footed Geese flew west.

Yeadon Tarn
A male Shoveler and 37 Tufted Ducks.  A male Stonechat was seen in the fields on the airport side and a flock of Pink-footed Geese flew westwards at about 5pm.

A single Waxwing in an Ilkley garden this am.

A Kingfisher (now a regular feature) fishing on Crag Hebble Dam. Six Redwings (in holly bush), six Jays ground feeding and two flocks of Long-tailed Tits (one of ten or more).
