Stockbridge reserve - After seeing this bird a few times down on the Reserve, Mark has managed to catch an image of it below. I think Water Rail is a suitable local species for 2022 to go out with.

Cullingworth Fields - Med Gull recorded which had an unreadable white ring on right leg.

Private Wetlands (permit only) - Great White Egret, Little Egret, half a dozen Grey Heron, Green Sandpiper, pair of Gadwall, female Pochard, plenty of Wigeon, Goldeneye with males displaying to females, 3 Red Kite, Buzzard.

Stockbridge Reserve - Little Egret flying east, Water Rail, Kestrel, Cormorants up & down the valley, single Lapwing east. Also a few small flocks of winter thrushes moving east.

Denso Reserve & Buck Lane - 2 Common Snipe, 2 Mandarin, 2 Little Egret, Kingfisher, 4+ Siskin,  2 Dippers, also small groups of Lapwings moving up & down the valley.

R Aire walk from Bingley to Hirst Wood  - (the cold snap attracted birds to the river as still waters are frozen up), Birds recorded - 5 Teal, 3 Dipper, 3 Little Grebe, 10 Goosander, Kingfisher, Grey Wagtail plus 3 Grey Heron, 4 Moorhen & plenty of Mallard.

Stockbridge Reserve -

An evening ringing produced another female Cettis Warbler ie a different bird than previous so that is three different females in as many years. Also 12 Siskin ringed.

Water Rail feeding in the open under the feeder. 3 Siskin attracted to ice free area amongst the willows, Snipe flew on to island before flying off east. Buzzard perched at top of conifer tree. Two Sparrowhawks interacting above the school fields. Reed Buntings at the feeders.
