Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - singing Blackcap in bird cherry next to hide, 2 singing Chiff-Chaffs, 2 Sand Martin east, single Redshank dropped in for 10 mins, 3 Jay, 3 Bullfinch, Cormorant, some of the 30 species recorded.

A Green Woodpecker could be heard for most the day. Two single Common Buzzards overhead.

Lapwing's have now established their traditional breeding area, Snipe can be heard 'chipping' and a pair of Curlew were feeding in the soft ground.  Meadow Pipits and Skylarks are singing and displaying.

Tong Park, Baildon - 10 Gadwall, female Mandarin, pair of Goosander, pair of mating Mute Swan, plus Coot & Moorhen. Half a dozen Meadow Pipits congregated near the cattle grid next to Baildon.

Waxwing flock in Menston area
On the 28th a flock of 33 Waxwings, first seen at White Cross, were later reported at High Royds, Menston.
