Dipper at Myrtle Park, Bingley
The Dipper seen in Myrtle Park on 11th May had a ring that appeared to be black on white - A48.  It was in fact, or at least at one time was, a lime green ring.  The bird was ringed, as a nestling (sex unknown), along Harden Beck on 26th April 2018.  The sighting was about 3 km from the ringing site grid reference. The metal ring, which cannot be read in the photo, is RZ25048.  So, it appears this bird may be resident close to its birth spot.
