Upper & Lower Barden Reservoirs

In addition to a Cuckoo and Curlews, a pair of Ring Ouzels.  Report and photos from Keith Allen.

Snaygill, Skipton
A Sedge Warbler, Blackcap, Whitethroat and Swifts around the area.

Yellow Wagtail
There appears to be two possible breeding pairs of Yellow Wagtail in the Otley area.  One pair has been seen along the Wharfe near Knotford Nook and the others have been watched in fields along East Busk Lane (off the A659).

Yellow Wagtail in the BOG area 1987 - 2018 makes interesting reading.   20+ at Otley Wetland 30 years ago seemed to be the norm.   

Walker Wood, Baildon
A Tawny Owl was hooting from trees at the bottom of Stubbins Lane.
Baildon Bank - The Jackdaw breeding colony is now in full swing.

Burley-in-Wharfedale
Two female Goosander on the river, a Lesser Whitethroat singing near where the Iron Row crosses the A65.  Good numbers of Swift in the village where they traditionally breed.
