Saturday 12th September 2020

Redcar Tarn
The Franklin's Gull, seen yesterday at Ten Yards Lane and Girlington, was at Redcar Tarn late morning.  It departed and flew westwards at 1pm.
Hewenden Reservoir
A 1st-winter Mediterranean Gull with a darvic leg-ring was seen on the wave wall at the reservoir.

Ten Yards Lane, Thornton
No sign of Franklin's Gull with the other Gulls. 1st Winter Med Gull was found though. Several Meadow Pipits grounded due to weather. Herring Gulls, LBBGulls, Common Gulls and BHGulls.

Hewenden Reservoir area inc Station Road, Harecroft
Lots of Gulls on the water and in the surrounding fields but no sign of Franklin's. Adult Med Gull seen feeding in a freshly spread field. Lots of large Gulls mostly Herring and LBBGulls. Cormorant, Sparrowhawk.

Glovershaw
Two Wheatears on the 11th fairway, a post-breeding flock of Meadow Pipits,  a Barn Owl, two juvenile Kestrels and a Common Buzzard.
