From Dailie Fields four Common Buzzards were watched as they flew high over Thornton. There was also another five which could be seen across the valley over Baildon Moor.

Seven singing/calling Nuthatch - three in Walker Wood/Trench Wood, one in Robert's Park and three in the Glen.
A pair of Long-tailed Tits in Walker Wood and a pair of Grey Wagtails by the weir at Hirstwood.

Kingfisher - heard along the river
A flock of 200+ Fieldfare feeding in a recently fertilised field by the treatment works.
