Brian reports that several Linnets have returned to area and Queensbury is a stronghold for House Sparrows.

Shipley Glen
A spectacular conflict amongst three Great Spotted Woodpeckers. There was lots of chasing, harassing, drumming, shouting as three birds, two males and a female, sorted things out.

Bingley Garden - Great Tit removing moss from the lawn for nest material. Pair of Bullfinch visiting regularly. Lack of traffic noise means can hear frogs croaking in pond.
