Shelf - Scarlet Tanager. This is a mega rarity in the UK with only around 8 records. It is a first year bird so yellow in colour rather than red. The bird has apparently been about since October but was only reported on Bird Guides for the first time today.

Hazlewood - 30 flighty Redwing, one Fieldfare, Raven  and Barn Owl hunting late afternoon. Roger Nelson
