Bingley area -  A new Heronry is now situated near the town on a private lake between the Brown Cow pub & Myrtle Park. A Grey Heron is now sitting whilst three more birds are nest building. Up to six birds have been recorded over the town whilst this development takes place. A good place to view is from the car park next to Bingley Little Theatre as the birds are nesting on an island.

Also recorded today - 2 male & 4 female Goosanders up river, a singing Chiff-Chaff at the bottom of Altar Road, GSW drumming, Nuthatch & Bullfinch near the park.
