Ponden to Watersheddings Reservoir

Glovershaw
The three juvenile Stonechats which were present yesterday, are still in the same area by the 'gallops'.  A large flock of birds airborne over Hawksworth Moor consisted of 100+ Lapwings and a similar number of Starlings.  The cutting of silage attracted Lesser Black Gulls and a Red Kite dropped onto a piece of carrion whilst a small number of Swallows skimmed over the fields.
