Storiths
You may have seen Roger Nelson's story about the young Wrens which spent their early days in a nest, under the wheel arch of his car.   Here's one of the fledged birds, now happily out and about.

Pennithorn, Baildon
11 male Reed Buntings were counted on the slopes of Pennithorn, four of them were flushed at a watery area where they had congregated.  At least 12 male Willow Warblers were heard, but as was the case with both species, females were at their nests.   A Skylark was seen taking food to its nest, whilst some Meadow Pipits were seen displaying of defending their territory.  A pair of Curlews, with at least one young bird, were highly agitated by the presence of a dog without a lead!
