Shipley Glen
A Green Woodpecker heard calling from Sheriff Lane area.  Five Great Spotted Woodpeckers, three flew over the road, chasing and calling whilst two others could be heard drumming from different locations.

A male Ring Ouzel in fields opposite Withins Head.

Glovershaw
8 to 10 Snipe, pair of Stonechat, four Reed Buntings, pair of Oystercatchers, four Curlew, Common Buzzard, Red Kite.   Also breeding Lapwings, Skylarks, Meadow Pipits.
