Fringes of Baildon Moor - Grasshopper Warbler seen & heard in area between scout camp & old holiday homes. Also singing Whitethroat near Pennythorn Hill & another near Low Spring Farm, next to road. On walk, four pairs of Linnet, 2 singing Willow Warblers, wandering Red Kite & four singing Reed Bunting.

Breeding Curlews on Baildon Moor


Adult birds protecting a juvenile which wandered across the road when disturbed by a dog which was allowed to run loose by a careless owner.                 Photos by Paul Marfell
