A Christmas Day walk through the park resulted in the following list:
Great Spotted Woodpecker 1, Robin 9 (2 singing), Moorhen 2, Grey Heron 2, Goosander (pair), Dipper 1 (this bird had ben ringed), Long-tailed Tit 6+, Mistle Thrush 5, Nuthatch 1, Cormorant 1, Goldfinch 7

A Common Buzzard, sitting in trees and then feeding on the ground, was in a field amongst eight Grey Herons.  Other prominent species included four Nuthatch and six Jays.

Timble Ings
A Yellow-browed Warbler has been trapped and ringed.  This is the fifth record of this species in the area.  The first record was in 2012, followed by other singles in 2013 and two in 2015. Click on the link for precise details.
