Hazlewood, Storiths
A Swallow seen flying around the farmyard, the earliest arrival in 49 years. 
Bolton Abbey - A Chiffchaff singing and 40 Oystercatchers on the river bank.

R.Wharfe, Burley - 2 Sand Martin, Common Sandpiper, 2 Dipper & a pair of Goosanders.

Glovershaw

The fields around Golcar Farm contained 25 pairs of Lapwing, three pairs of Curlew a pair of Redshank and a few 'chunking' Snipe.  Seven Oystercatchers were feeding in the fields beyond the race track and up to 20 Skylarks were present on the Golf Course.

Stainburn Forest
Woodcock (1 flushed), Tawny Owl (another daytime hooter), plentiful Chiffchaffs, displaying Siskins and Crossbills (some singing); single male Brambling in treetop with a Crossbill; also a Brimstone butterfly.
