Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - 2 singing Chiff-Chaffs, Blackcap, Reed Bunting, Reed Warbler, singing Whitethroat plus a pair with two fledglings. Also seen, Ringlets, Comma Butterfly & male Broad-bodied Chaser.

Fewston & Swinsty Reservoirs - both had a pair of Common Sandpiper with chicks of one & two respectively.

Fringes of Baildon Moor - Grasshopper Warbler seen & heard in area between scout camp & old holiday homes. Also singing Whitethroat near Pennythorn Hill & another near Low Spring Farm, next to road. On walk, four pairs of Linnet, 2 singing Willow Warblers, wandering Red Kite & four singing Reed Bunting.

Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - good views of Reed Warbler in small reed bed to right of hide. Also pair of Whitethroat still taking food to nest site. One bird seen leaving carrying white faecal sac.
Baildon Green - singing Whitethroat, probably breeding. Site almost opposite pub.

Two singing Whitethroats, pair of Bullfinch, three pairs of Linnets, numerous breeding birds including Willow Warblers, Blackcaps and Reed Buntings.

Great Spotted Woodpeckers are also breeding in Ferniehurst Dell, Baildon.

A Grasshopper Warbler was singing from the top of bramble patch on the Glen Road.
Sconce/Pennithorne
Whitethroat singing and three or four pairs of Willow Warblers are actively feeding in an area close to the scout camp.  Other breeding birds seen carrying food included Reed Buntings, Meadow Pipit, Skylark and Linnet.  A Little Owl was seen by the cabins.

Sconce Lane area - Gropper reeling in field between scout camp & old holiday buildings. Same species still reeling near Shipley Glen. Unusual perching position for a Snipe, on the very top of the highest power cable near Glovershaw.
