Apperley Bridge/Esholt - 3 Grey Wagtail, 3 Cormorant, Kingfisher plus a Dipper seen preening.

Glovershaw area - 2 Curlew, juv Wheatear, a few Stock Doves well outnumbered by Woodpigeons, Chiifchaffs calling among the bracken, Red Kite, Raven, flock of 30 Goldfinch, Swallows still feeding young at the farm, Barn Owl seen perched at the entrance of the box.
