CATCH UP

Some of the sightings received during my absence on holiday'

1 May  - Leeshaw Reservoir - 5 Wheatear, Lapwings with chicks.

2 May - Apperley Bridge - 20 Sand Martin, mating Kestrel plus common Buzzard on nest. 

4 May - Apperley Bridge  - 2 Little Egret, female Goosander with 11 ducklings, L R P at Esholt Quarry

5 May  - Hazlewood Moorside - Cuckoo calling

6 May - Glovershaw - Cuckoo, Whitethroat

7 May - Burley Woodhead - female Ring Ouzel, 2 Cuckoos calling, Garden Warbler by the beck. Above Hebers Ghyll, Redstart, Siskins & 4 Raven.

8 May - Ledeshaw Res. - Common Sandpiper, Whitethroat

8 May - Barden - Swift, Redshank

9 May - Saltaire - 2 Swifts

19 May - Barden - Spotted Flycatcher, Cullingworth - Raven.
