Street Lane - 50 plus Fieldfare, 6 Curlew, 3 Kestrel
Ben Rhydding G P - singing Chiff-Chaff, Kingfisher (Chiff-Chaff heard in Otley singing since 21st)

Glovershaw - 75 Golden Plovers and two Wheatears i.e. a male at Birch Close Lane and a female on the 10th green of the Golf Course.  The female Wheatear, probably the same bird was seen in exactly the same place on the 27th and 28th.

A male Wheatear, ten Skylarks a flock of over 200 Golden Plovers and a pair of Red Grouse. Meadow Pipits are now displaying, 25 pairs of Lapwings are insitu, pairs of Curlews and Snipe are calling and Oystercatchers are also present.

Female Stonechat by beck, good numbers of  Redwings in fields by Upwood.


Stoney Ridge Plantation near Cottingley - flock of 115 Redwing at first ground feeding, followed by perching & singing in nearby trees. Stock Dove, Nuthatch & GSW calling plus 2 Herring Gull overhead.
