Apperley Bridge
A Common Sandpiper, a pair of Oystercatchers, 12 Sand Martins, and two Ring-necked Parakeets.  A single Gadwall was on the river and a pair was seen at Esholt.  A flock of six Jays, a yaffling Green Woodpecker, three Goldcrest, three Nuthatch, four Chiffchaff, three Blackcap, a single Kingfisher, Kestrel, Common Buzzard, Red Kite and a Song Thrush.  The rookery now contains six rebuilt nests.  A good end to what appears to have been an excellent morning.
