Cononley Ings area -  2 male Shovelers, 180 Lapwing, 27 Oystercatchers, 3 Shelduck, 96 Curlew, 114 Wigeon, 52 Teal, 7 Mute Swan, 3 male Reed Buntings calling, 60 Redwing roosting in a tree with some birds singing. Seen from train near Crosshills - Little Egret.

10.50am - A large skein of over 200 Pink-footed Geese headed NW.  (This was one of three skeins that crossed the area yesterday, all heading towards the NW ed.).

160 Oystercatchers. The birds had all departed by the afternoon.
