Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - certainly a quiet morning. Brief song from a Blackcap, a single Whitethroat amongst the meadow sweet, Swifts, Reed Bunting but no sign of Sedge or Reed about. Comma butterfly seen. Plenty of balsam pulled.

East Busk Lane, Otley - Redstart family (at least 3 young), Mistle Thrush flock of 11 birds.

Hazlewood - albino cock Pheasant, adult male Stonechat, pair of Greenfinch, pair of Siskin, Spotted Flycatcher in garden.

Apperley Bridge - along canal, 4 Common Terns

Heights Lane, Eldwick - just some of the birds recorded, Red Kite, Willow Warbler, Lapwing with 2 chicks, Kestrel, Little Owl. Comma & White-Letter Hairstreak seen along with more common butterflies.

A Grasshopper Warbler was calling from the western end of the paddock on Birch Close Lane.

Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - 36 species recorded including Sedge & Garden Warbler, Kingfisher, Blackcap, Cormorant, Whitethroat, Bullfinch & Reed Bunting.
Also Comma, Speckled Wood Butterflies & Banded Demoiselle Damselfly.
