Glovershaw
In wet and windy conditions, three Snipe flew over the Glen Road, another sat on a wall at Golcar Farm and others could be heard drumming.  An area in an adjacent field contained a female Whinchat, a male Wheatear, Skylark and a male Reed Bunting, all sheltering from the strong wind.  A pair of Stock Doves rested by their nest-box and a Cuckoo could be heard over at Pennythorn.
