Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - singing Whitethroat.  At times, two Kestrel in the box. A female Goosander flew to the same box and landed on the roof and peered over the top only to be chased off by the Kestrel. Pair of Bullfinch at the feeders plus splendid male Reed Buntings. Tit Box Latest Riddlesden.

Two eggs layed overnight, female has been away from the nest all day , returning around 19.00hrs. I understand this is normal. Eggs are "in a state of limbo", if she was to sit on them as soon as were layed , the oldest  birds would dominate food supply.
