Box-cam Blue Tit

video
Blue Tit in nest box
Thanks to Mark . D. helping me to post this . This is an infra red image taken at night hence black and white. This bird has recently begun to roost in the box . I am hoping  breeding will occur and I will post clips as, hopefully ,  things develop. I have had mixed success in the past. Last year ten eggs were laid , nine hatched but only one fledged, I think due to the cold spring and shortage of food.In a previous year nine eggs were laid, eight hatched but the nest was abandoned. Other years have been more successful, but it can be X rated viewing, it has had my wife in tears.
