Barden Bridge to Strid Woods - 9 Sand Martin, 2 Redshank on backwater, Kingfisher, 2 Goosander,
2 pair of Mandarin, 2 pair of Grey Wagtail, 2 Dipper, at least 8 Nuthatch.

Coldstone Beck, Burley - 2 Ring Ouzel, 2 Stonechat plus Wheatears

Glovershaw - On a warm, dry morning a pair of Redshank, 25 pairs of Lapwing, three pairs of Curlew and an estimated six pairs of Snipe were very active in the fields by Golcar Farm.  Elsewhere a Willow Warbler sang at Pennythorn Plantation and three pairs of Oystercatcher were in fields near Weecher.
