Ben Rhydding Gravel Pits - 2 Little Egrets reported on nearby river stretches.
Pink-foots heard flying over the village at about 7.00 pm.

Sconce Lane area - 200 Pink-footed Geese flew over going west in 3 skeins at 10.20.
Also seen - 100 Golden Plover ground feeding with 180 Lapwing, possibly a couple of hundred Fieldfare spread out with a few Redwing feeding in fields as the sun defrosted the ground. In the area, Red Kite & Buzzard recorded, a pair of Little Owls perched close together and good views of a Stoat bringing a vole out of a wall. A Hare raced past near the horse track plus a Kestrel seen hunting.
