A couple of Wheatears and a Whinchat and a small group of six Curlews which included mostly juvenile birds. A flock of at least 50 birds, Pipits, Reed Buntings and Skylarks swirled around Pennithorne Hill as a tractor, hauling a large spiked roller, continued the process of flattening the ferns.
