Bingley Bog North - 4 Goldfinch, 2 Whitethroat, 2 male Blackcap, 2 adult Willow Warbler plus 3 juvs, Kestrel, 2 Chiff-Chaff, Reed Bunting - also Ringlet, Meadow Brown & Large Skipper butterflies.
On the previous day on a circular walk taking in Dowley Gap to Cottingley Bridge & including the riverside walk - Willow Warbler 4, Canada Geese with broods of 4 & 5, Mallard with 6d, Reed Warbler, House Martin breeding in Wagon Lane, Grey Wagtail, 8 Sand Martin, Blackcap, Chiff-Chaff, Oystercatcher.

Stockbridge Reserve (members only) - 31 species recorded this morning including the following -
Kingfisher, now visiting more regularly, Bullfinch with 3 juvs, singing Blackcap & Garden Warbler, juv Whitethroat plus adult singing, Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting singing. Plenty of young birds around the feeder such as Blue & Great Tits, Redpoll at feeder & GSW along river bank.
