Sandwith Moor - 20 Curlew feeding in newly cut field. Whitethroat singing next to Stainburn car park.
Scargill Pasture - Wheatear, Skylark carrying food, 2 Stock Dove with 2 young, Snipe heard "chipping",
distant call of a single Golden Plover.
Scargill Res. - Linnet with 2 juvs, Reed Bunting calling, 2 Oystercatchers.
From wood below Res to Long Liberty Farm - Marsh Tit, Redstart carrying food, juv Tree Sparrow plus Comma Butterfly.
John o'Gaunt Res - Female tufted Duck with 12d, 15 Lapwing, adult Snipe with a juv feeding on the fringe, good views of singing Sedge Warbler plus Stock Doves calling from two sites.
