Glovershaw - There were four Wheatears on the Golf Course (two males and two females) and two Willow Warblers singing from the plantation beyond Pennithorn Hill. A Swallow flew by and three pairs of Red Grouse and three pairs of Curlews were in the area. Snipe were displaying and calling from the fields by Golcar Farm and to the north of Pennithorn.

Harden Moor - Willow Warbler catching flies, Little Owl, 10 Swallows west, 7 Linnet (one bird in song),
Reed Bunting singing plus Chiff-Chaff in Deep Cliff.
