Monday 13th January, 2014

Yeadon Tarn - Once more this small lake proved to be a good place to see birds at close quarters.  At noon today there were seven Pochard, 25 Tufted Duck, 23 Goosanders, nine Mute Swans, six Great Crested Grebes, six Cormorants and a flock of 45 Lapwings wheeling overhead.
